Longtime Splice Originals contributor Ismaila Talla (iss814) brings West African flavor to the Afro House genre – a blend of traditional house, kwaito, mbaqanga, deep house, tribal house, and soulful house. In addition to introducing regional instrumentation into the genre like the Balafon, Kora, and Ngoni, he collaborated with female vocalist Selly for added depth and texture.
