Compressor Real-time loudness-targeted compression.
APU Loudness Compressor is a perceptual dynamics processor that works to a loudness target, not just peaks. Its LUFS-based detector (momentary, short-term, integrated) delivers transparent, level-consistent compression or expansion, while a unique Source→Target mode maps the input loudness range into the range you want-so you set the goal and the processor does the rest. When you need classic behavior, switch to RMS or Peak detection. A built-in true-peak limiter with lookahead prevents overshoots, sidechain support handles ducking, and alternate detector weightings (ECMA-418, ITU-R 468, A/C) let you tune the response. Multi-channel aware and Atmos-friendly, it’s ideal for mix-bus leveling, dialogue control, and hitting streaming/broadcast targets with minimal fuss.
